* A rulebook

* A battle mat

* 2 sets of Miniatures. Three German and three British.

* Dice - including a scatter dice.

The setup for Trench Offensive is relatively simple. Players will first need to choose a battlefield. The battlefield can be any size, but it is recommended that it be at least 24 inches by 24 inches. Players will then need to place the miniatures on the battlefield. The miniatures should be placed according to the rules in the rulebook.

Once the battlefield is set up, players are ready to begin the game. Players will roll dice to determine who goes first. The player who goes first will move one of their units. Players will alternate turns until all the units have been moved.

Combat in Trench Offensive is resolved using a unique system. Similar to Threat Level, the game works on a 2d6 system, with advantage or disadvantage. Allowing for a creative narrative which enhances the game.
